Mr. Hashmi worked on cases relating to almost all types of major crimes including some of South Florida’s most highly publicized homicide and gang cases.
As a law clerk at the United States Attorney’s Office for the Southern District of Florida, Mr. Hashmi worked on a number of high profile cases involving complex white collar crime, health care fraud, bankruptcy, and financial liabilities. With respect to white collar defense, Mr. Hashmi has profound knowledge about government audits and investigations, False Claims Act and Qui Tam litigation, and fraud charges regularly prosecuted by the U.S. Attorney’s Office.
