Dr. Stephen Taylor is a highly experienced federal workers compensation billing and compliance consultant. Over the past 25 years, Dr. Taylor has built a national reputation as a go-to advisor for physical therapy clinics, business owners, medical providers, healthcare executives, and billing departments with a particular focus on physical/occupational therapy, CARF accreditation for interdisciplinary rehabilitative outpatient and pain programs in clinics and hospitals.
Compliance Assistance. Dr. Taylor’s vast and substantial consulting experience in the fields of medical, chiropractic, nursing, and physical therapy includes comprehensive practice management consultation, work in utilization review, medical necessity assessments, preauthorization, and establishing protocols and documentation to establish medical necessity.
Dr. Taylor is duel-trained as a registered nurse as well as a chiropractic physician. He is the Chief Operating Officer for SMT Consultants, TEC Consulting and Managing Partner of DEA Medical Consultants.
