Johnnie O. Granados

Johnnie O. Granados is a bilingual former Supervisory Special Agent with the U.S. Department of Justice, former Resident Agent-in-Charge, and former Lieutenant Investigator with the Florida Medicaid Fraud Control Unit under Attorney General Pam Bondi with over thirty years of federal, Florida state, and international law enforcement and government experience.

DEA Diversion Experience. Special Agent Granados is the former Special Agent of the Los Angeles, San Diego, Detroit, and Houston DEA and DEA Diversion Group. In the capacity of Special Agent and later Supervisory Special Agent, Mr. Granados managed and supervised the Tactical Diversion Squad consisting of Special Agents, state law enforcement, and DEA Diversion Investigators. Special Agent Granados developed keen qualifications when it comes to pharmacy audits, purchase-sales inventory audits, and compliance with the Controlled Substances Act. As part of his extensive career with the U.S. Department of Justice, Mr. Granados conducted high-level operational briefings to the Attorney General of the United States, the Commander of the U.S. Pacific Fleet, and other top-government officials.

Medicaid Fraud Unit (Florida). Following his career with the U.S. Department of Justice, Special Agent Granados joined the Florida Attorney General’s Office under Pam Bondi to conduct and supervise Medicaid Fraud investigations out of the Miami, Fort Lauderdale, and West Palm Beach offices. Investigations included all forms of Medicaid Fraud such as audits and criminal investigations involving physicians, dentists, and healthcare business owners.

Education. Mr. Granados obtained a Master of Arts from the University of Northern Colorado and a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice from California State University.
