Mr. Wiley is Special Counsel at the Firm supervising internal corporate investigations, white-collar defense matters, and complex federal litigations.
Client Services. After almost two decades as a highly acclaimed county, state and federal prosecutor, Mr. Wiley has now returned to the private sector to offer the Firm’s individual and corporate clients the benefit of his extensive government, law enforcement, and Department of Justice trial experience, specifically, in the areas of white-collar offenses, including, health care (e.g. anti-kickback violations, department of labor and commercial insurance prosecutions, and Medicare fraud), identity theft, bank fraud, and embezzlement.
Background. Mr. Wiley offers the Firm’s clients over twenty-five years of experience and decades of government insight, which he accumulated as an Assistant United States Attorney at the U.S. Justice Department, as former Assistant Attorney General, and as a former County Prosecutor. Prior to his service with the government, Mr. Wiley began his remarkable career at two of the country’s top litigation firms. Significantly, as a federal, state and county prosecutor, Mr. Wiley tried in excess of 100 felony jury trials.
Accolades. Mr. Wiley has been appointed to the role of Master of the American Inn of Court (2016-present; Barrister 2013-2016). He is also a member of the National Association of Criminal Defense Attorneys, the J.L. Turner Legal Association, and the St. Thomas More Society.
